1. George Harrison left school at 16 and worked for several months as an apprentice electrician at Blacklers, a local department store.

3. He was the first Beatle to visit and play in America. During his 18-day stay, Harrison also became the first Beatle to play in the U.S.—appearing on stage with The Four Vests at the VFW Hall in Eldorado.
4. He was the first Beatle to meet a U.S. President - Gerald Ford, in 1974.
5. He got into a fight with John Lennon's wife over a biscuit. That's right, a biscuit. Things were already tense among the Beatles' inner circle in the late 60′s while recording at Abbey Road studios. Yoko Ono's presence in the group didn't help. While making “Abbey Road”, Ono pinched a biscuit from a packet Harrison left on his amplifier. The last biscuit!
